We like to party and have fun socializing when studio time is over, yet we also seek participants who wish to focus on their creative projects rigorously. We provide support as need to all visitors upon request. Those traveling with a partner or family you can be accommodated by special arrangement with advance arrangements & additional minimal fees.

Writers, visual artists, composers, filmmakers, playwrights, scientists, tech professionals, interdisciplinary artists, and architects come from all parts of the world. More than 900 artists have participated in our projects. More than 50 creatives arrive each year; of these about half are new and half have been involved in projects before. Since founding this group in 1982, our focus is to nurture the arts and sciences by offering creative individuals time and space to produce enduring works of their imagination.

We had AJ & Jude and their collective design and engineering team plan and construct our properties. Most were tired and ugly. The land was amazing, but what was possible on my budget with old buildings or difficult building sites? They came up with solutions we hadn't even thought of integrating Eco friendly principles & Nature while finding the people and products to do what we wanted. AND, we were the lead designer on our projects. When we wanted adjustments they listened to our ideas and we created together. HIRE THIS TEAM. It was fun and very profitable! M.
